Scholarship Information

GUIDELINES FOR RECEIVING A SCHOLARSHIP
An applicant must be an active member of a Church of God (Anderson) congregation in Kansas or the Oklahoma Panhandle.

They must be a full-time student attending a Church of God institution. (Anderson, Mid America, Warner Southern, Warner Pacific, Azusa Pacific, Bay Ridge, or School of Theology)

A student is eligible to receive a scholarship for the first five (5) years in their pursuit of an undergraduate degree. 

A student is eligible to receive a scholarship for three additional years in pursuit of a graduate degree. 

Pastors completing a degree on a part-time basis are also invited to make application. (The application and a personal note will be sufficient.)  

The Women of the Church of God also provide some scholarships.  Their deadlines may be different and they require a separate application. Contact Lu Lee luolathe@kc.rr.com for details. 
 

To be considered for a scholarship: 
A new application must be made each school and in the State Office by July 1st.  (March 1st for Anderson)

With the application we must receive:
- A personal note from the student
- A recommendation from their pastor.
- A recommendation from an instructor, youth leader or other church leader. (Recommendations may come from their home church or the church they are attending at school.)

Payment will be made to the school each semester.  Payments will be sent ONLY AFTER the student has provided the State Office with the completed Enrollment Verification signed by a school official.
